A Look Inside Our New Workplace
Our office is located in a bustling suburban area in Asse. It is designed with Activity Based Flex Work in mind, providing our employees with a varied and flexible work environment to work, meet, and relax.
“We really wanted to create a place where people could feel at home and where they could come together without a reservation after work hours. The most important thing for us was to be able to work in our own unique way and to have our own branded environment.” – Johnny (founder)
The Location
The choice for a suburban location was made deliberately because we want employees to have easy access to amenities such as shops, cafes, and parks. We want to give people the opportunity to do their shopping, have a drink, or take a relaxing walk. This makes our office not only a workplace but also a place where employees can extend their work hours with informal meetings and activities.
Activity based flex work design
The office itself is designed according to the concept of Activity Based Flex Work, meaning that various types of workspaces have been created to meet diverse needs. Our employees can choose from ergonomic workstations, window seating, focus rooms, individual and shared workspaces, and even a central kitchen that serves as a meeting place.
We strongly believe in hybrid working and understand that some people want to come to the office to work in a focused manner. Therefore, we want to provide an environment where people can perform at their best, regardless of their personal preference or mood
Well-being and Sustainability
In addition to functionality, employee well-being was a priority in the design. The office is furnished with high-quality materials, attention to greenery, and a comfortable layout. We have invested in quality audiovisual technology and sustainable elements to create a pleasant and inspiring work environment.
We also honestly admit that we still have work to do in our pursuit of a fully sustainable workplace. We have already made many ecological choices, such as a sustainable heat pump and airtight insulation, but we faced challenges in finding sustainable solutions for furniture and finishes.
Feedback Culture and Philosophy
To measure the success of the new workplace, we regularly ask for employee feedback. We want to know what they think of the new environment and what improvements we can make. By keeping communication open and listening to the needs of the team, we hope to continuously refine the workplace.
The new workplace embodies the philosophy of Meliopus and demonstrates our commitment to the well-being and productivity of our employees. It is an inspiring example of how an office space can be designed to enable people to bring out the best in themselves, while also becoming a social hub for collaboration and connection.
When you visit, you will clearly notice that this place is much more than just a workplace. It is a vibrant and inspiring environment where creativity, collaboration, and personal well-being come together.
